Mansfield Area Collaboration

John T. Rice Infant and Nursery School is proud to be part of the Mansfield Area Collaboration, alongside Intake Farm Primary School, Nettleworth Infants, Northfield Primary School, Newlands Juniors, and Crescent Primary School.

The collaboration allows our staff to work closely with colleagues from other schools, sharing ideas, learning from one another, and developing new projects. This partnership helps to:

  • Strengthen teaching skills and knowledge through shared best practice.

  • Support the well-being of pupils, staff, and senior leaders.

  • Explore innovative approaches, including the use of artificial intelligence in education.

  • Focus on key areas such as curriculum subjects, behaviour, attendance, safeguarding, and personal development.

By collaborating in this way, our staff benefit from high-quality professional development, which directly enriches the learning experiences of our children. Pupils enjoy the advantages of fresh ideas, new opportunities, and innovative teaching methods, all while maintaining the caring, welcoming environment that makes John T. Rice so special.

The Mansfield Area Collaboration is designed to strengthen and support the schools involved. It does not affect the unique character of our school or how we operate day-to-day.

If you would like to learn more about our work within the collaboration, please feel free to get in touch.
