Welcome to John T. Rice Infant and Nursery School's website!
We are a busy, friendly school, with lots fun-filled learning going on. The children are at the centre of everything we do. Our rich, diverse curriculum is based upon a wide range of themes and topics. Each half term, the children have the opportunity to learn new skills and knowledge that both feeds into their cultural capital and provides them with the skills needed for the next stage of their education. It is our belief every child is an individual and has the right to be treated as such. We value the development of every child as an individual.
Through supportive parent partnerships, we guide each child to reach their full potential. We actively involve parents/carers in their child's education through open door days, assemblies, information sessions and much more! We know a successful partnership with parents/carers in the early days of school can make the difference for children.
We are proud of our friendly, open door policy and work hard to communicate effectively with parents/carers on a range of topics. If you would like to work alongside us in school either with our fantastic P.T.A or within class, please do get in touch!
