Here are John T. Rice Infant School we are fully inclusive. The school community work in conjunction with one another in order to promote positive behaviours and a caring environment. Our school worked with the Anti Bullying Alliance and now we hold the 'All together Against Bullying award' at the silver level.
We value everyone as a whole and ensure that the children here understand what bullying is, how to recognise bullying and what to do if faced with a situation.
We have produced a leaflet in child-friendly language that explains bullying, which you can find below.
The children all take part in Anti bullying week and share this fantastic learning with their families.
All F2 and KS1 children participated in an Anti-Bullying work shop on Monday 13th November 2023 and learnt all about the impact of bullying and how to reach out to people in kindness.
There are many useful resources out there to support children and families who are dealing with bullying. You will find some links below.
